Jenn Bartol Perez 

Jenn is a Regional Transformation Support Specialist. In this role, Jenn works alongside university leadership teams and their school district partners to support the work of transforming teacher preparation programs. Her responsibilities include virtual and on-the-ground support, co-planning and facilitating professional development, and progress monitoring transformation plans to make sure goals are met. Jenn is passionate about ensuring that all PK-12 students have highly qualified and effective teachers.

After graduating from the University of Virginia, Jenn began her career in education teaching middle school science in Houston, Texas. She comes to this role with over 9 years of experience in teacher preparation, including previously serving as the Director of Teacher Certification and as an instructional coach and field supervisor.

Jenn currently lives in Richmond, Virginia with her husband and beloved pets. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, hiking, cooking, and game nights with friends and family.
