In Nadine Gilbert's first two blog posts for Education First, she described how Jackson State University (JSU) transformed their clinical practice and their teacher preparation curriculum to strengthen their teacher candidates' experiences so they are ready on day one to successfully teach all students, especially Black, Latino, and students living in poverty.
