Ashley was raised in Friendswood, TX and moved to Lubbock to attend Texas Tech University as an undergraduate student. While earning her bachelor’s degree in the College of Education, she also served as the Masked Rider, Texas Tech’s live horse and rider mascot. After graduating, Ashley began working for Texas Tech in the College of Health and Human Sciences, where she spent 10 years and also earned her Master’s in Hospitality and Retail Management with certificates in Event Planning and Entrepreneurship.
Outside of work, Ashley loves spending time with family which includes her husband, Great Dane, horses, and chickens! She also enjoys traveling and being active. Some of her favorite hobbies are riding her horses, hiking, and hunting.
